The rooms at Dormy Inn Matsumoto are cozy and comfortable, with modern amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. I loved relaxing in the cool air and catching up on my favorite shows after a long day of exploring. As a solo traveler, it was the perfect retreat for me.

Personally, I found the electronic bidet in the bathroom a bit overwhelming. But hey, it's just my opinion and maybe others would appreciate this high-tech feature.

Great location in the city and close enough to walk from the railway station with luggage, yet close enough to comfortably walk to the Castle.

The Onsen spas are great facilities on the 9th floor. However the separate ones for male and female need signs in English (or pictogram would be better) to ensure no confusion or embarassment for guests.

This place is strategically located near various restaurants, bars, and attractions, offering a breakfast buffet with a variety of dishes including traditional New Year items and western options.

The location was very good, a few minutes from the JR station right on the main road, and about 10-15 minute-walk to Matsumoto castle. The staff was very helpful, especially Naomi who helped clarify the breakfast charge issue.

The breakfast extra charge should be posted on the website too. No shower cap provided. The Green (no room make up, to conserve water and energy) and Brown (room make up) cards (to be left in front of the room) might confuse some guests.

Greatly enjoyed our stay, can't recommend it highly enough this place. It was fairly clean and the staff were outstandingly accommodating and gentle, beds were exceptionally comfortable. The location was marvellous and comfortable, at a moderate distance from Zenkyuin Temple.

Spacious room with comfortable bed, provided amenities like toothbrush and razor, and complimentary pj's and slippers. Convenient location near train station and Matsumoto Castle. Delicious breakfast with both Western and Japanese options. Friendly and helpful staff. Hassle-free luggage service and small treats in the room.

A friend and I shared a twin room, which was surprisingly spacious, with a separate porch, bathroom, and sink/fridge area. The staff were very helpful, especially given that we had messed up our booking and made it for the next day. The rooftop onsen-style bath is a real plus - outdoor and indoor hot baths, a sauna, and a cold plunge. Very good value, not too far from the station, and a comfortable place to stay for a night or two if you're visiting Matsumoto. Highly recommended!

The location here was awesome 🌟, we could easily walk to a cool old shrine nearby. Plus, it's super close to both the train station and all the attractions in the area!

Good sized double room and great location with fanatastic onsen on the top floor- for a reasonable price.

Spacious clean comfortable well equipped room. Hotel close to Station and approx 15 mins from Castle. Lovely onsen baths at hotel. Matsumoto is a great city.

Clean modern room. Excellent wired internet. Good staff recommendations & map of local restaurants & activities. Superb large hot springs bath on 9th floor (separate facilities for men & women). Room had frig & hot water kettle. Highly recommended

Everything was very good, and the breakfast was extensive with western options. We got a room with bidet.
